The GSI Academy Partners With Bodaq by Hyundai L&C to Create Bodaq University North America.

As The Graphic Installation Academy of North America continues to grow, so does its partnerships. GSIA has been partnered with Printing United for several years, hosting the PDAA Training and Certification Workshops at its Silver Spring, MD based facility. With the new partnership of Bodaq, and the mission to create an Architectural Film Installation Training environment like no other, the decision was made to move to a larger facility in Hyattsville, MD.

The concept was to create 4 immersive training "pods" where the installers will have to wrap various elements within their individual pods (a wall with an inside and outside corner, a door, a round table, a medicine cabinet and an elevator panel). The students get a mix of materials (woods, stones, metals & fabrics) to design the finished look of their pods. It's a great exercise mixed with installation skillsets and spatial design. This advanced workshop/certification class will be held monthly through 2025 and in 2026, there will be a introductory course added once per month for people looking to get into the industry.
